IGSP IT staff can help you by setting up a server account for you and your lab, assisting with setting up your workstation, or help you with other computational projects or tasks.

The common means of reporting a problem is to Email with information about the problem. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including:

  • your name
  • your telephone number
  • the name of your lab, if any
  • where the computer is located or where you experienced the problem
  • the kind of computer (e.g. Windows XP PC, Linux PC, or Mac OS X)
  • a description of the problem, including any information about what you were doing when the problem cropped up
