Jingdong Tian, PhD
Research Interests
Dr. Tian' s research is highly interdisciplinary and integrates genome science, synthetic systems biology, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering. Some research interests include:
- Develop innovative technologies and concepts for high-throughput functional genomics, proteomics, and synthetic biology.
- Develop engineering principles and strategies for creating novel biomolecular systems and active nanostructures using a high-throughput gene and genome synthesis platform.
- Develop enabling technologies and software for synthetic genomics to help find innovative green sources for medicine, energy, chemicals and novel materials.
