Center for Population Genomics & Pharmacogenetics
Sometimes a medicine will cure one person, but will not help another, or will actually do more harm than good. Genetic differences among people play an important role in determining how patients respond to medicine. The Center for Population Genomics & Pharmacogenetics is dedicated to finding these genetic differences among people and learning how to use them to make sure that each patient receives the medicine that works best for their particular genetic makeup.
