Center for Evolutionary Genomics

The IGSP Center for Evolutionary Genomics seeks to understand how changes in the content and organization of genomes have contributed to the diversity of life on Earth, as well as the processes that have shaped these changes. The Center' s overarching goal is to understand the genetic basis for the diversity of life on Earth and the reasons why evolution has produced so many differences in the organization and content of genomes.
