Center for Bioinformatics & Computational Biology
The Center for Bioinformatics & Computational Biology (CB2) provides resources and an intellectual focus for the development and application of computational, mathematical, statistical and modeling approaches to the study of the life sciences. Both bioinformatic and computational analysis of complex genomic and other -omic datasets yields new insights into gene and genome functions in a variety of organisms, from microorganisms to plants to human.
Many of the faculty and students involved in CB2 activities are associated with the Computational Biology & Bioinformatics (CBB) Ph.D. program. A list of participating faculty in the CBB Program can be found here.
